Abstract
538,172. Sliding-clasp fasteners. SPITZ, E. Feb. 9, 1940, No. 2487. [Class 44] In a sliding-clasp fastener, the fastening elements are wire loops 16 bent at 17, 18 to interlock both longitudinally and laterally. The bends may take various forms, and the wire may be flattened. The loops may be part of a helix threaded through the tapes 14, and are all of the same shape.
