Abstract

537,651. Airscrew spinners. CHARLES, H. N. Sept. 22, 1939, No. 26468. [Class 114] The airscrew spinner 10 is supported forward of the back plate 13 by a diaphragm terminating in a rearwardly directed flange 23 which is embraced by a flange 19 carried by a support plate 16 attached to the air screw hub 15. A resilient ring 25 is located between the two flanges and is provided with a lip 26 which provides longitudinal resilience. The back plate 13 may be attached by the means described in Specification 537,649.
