[Class 53] An accumulator of the so-called dry type comprises a tubular casing closed at both ends, electrodes extending longitudinally within the casing, porous material filling the whole of the remaining space and extending from one end wall of the casing to the other. A removable vent plug at one end, one or both connections being made at the other end. The plug itself may serve as one terminal.
