Abstract
537,085. Wireless receiving apparatus. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., AUSTIN, C., and BANKS, G. B. Jan. 12, 1940, No. 765. [Class 40 (v)] A resistance-capacity element comprises a ceramic body T provided with a highly conductive coating 0 and a highly resistive conducting coating R which is connected by coatings I to metal end caps P. The coatings may be produced by platinizing and electroplating or by evaporation from a metal filament. The resistive coating may be formed by treating the ceramic body with aquadag and drying by heating to 400‹ C. The coatings may be formed on opposite faces of a flat ceramic element.
