[Classes 70 and 87 (ii)] A camouflage device comprises a rubber or rubber-like sheet cast or moulded in contact with the ground or in an open mould representing the ground by spraying rubber latex or a rubber latex-like compound on the mould so that irregularities in the ground are represented in the surface of the sheet, which may be backed with jute paper, cotton, hemp, hessian or scrim during or after manufacture. Synthetic rubber, chlorinated rubber, or polyvinyl chloride may be used in place of rubber. The sheet may be coloured with pigments or dyes or it may be painted and sand, soil, cinders or vegetation may be adhered to the surface. The rubber sheet may be set by heat or coagulating agents and vulcanized or a self-curing or vulcanized latex may be used. Specification 450,867 is referred to.
