[Class 129] A tea preparation is made by infusing the tea in water, separating the infusion by centrifugal or other pressure action, adding milk or a milk product, homogenising, and finally concentrating in vacuum. A sweetening agent and a pH adjuster, such as NaOH, may be added with the milk before homogenization. Apparatus for the purpose comprises an infuser 1, centrifugal separator 3, milk mixing tank 4, homogenizer 5, storage tank 6, vacuum evaporator 7, condenser 8, vacuum pump 9, and a receiver 10 for the condensate from 8, this condensate being usable in the infuser, if desired.
