533,353. Resinous compositions. KODAK, Ltd. May 4, 1939, No. 15765/40. Convention date, May 4, 1938. Divided out of 528,760 [Class 2 (iii)] A resinous composition resistant to corrosion and chemical attack comprises, in admixture, a cyclo-olefine resin, a halogenated rubber and a styrol resin. The composition is suitably prepared, as described in Specification 528,760, by dissolving the ingredients in a solvent to produce a lacquer ; pigments, plasticizers &c. may be incorporated. Solid, plastic compositions may also be prepared, e.g., using a plasticizer. These are specified-cyclo-olefine resins-cumarone-indene and dicyclopentadiene resins and mixtures ; halogenated rubberchlorinated or brominated rubber, particularly chlorinated rubber containing about 67 per cent. of chlorine ; styrol resin-the product obtained by heating liquid styrene to 200-300‹C.
