[Classes 94 (ii) and 133] A garment carrier &c. comprises side portions A, B, Fig. 1, hingedly connected together about a fold line 1 and provided with hinged side flaps 2, 3, 6 and 7 and an end flap 10. The articles to be carried are disposed over a hanger 14 attached to part B by staples 17 and integral with a carrying handle 15a projecting through a slit in the fold line 1. The contents being inserted, the side flaps are folded thereover, the parts A, B, are brought together about the fold line and the flap 10, which may have a second line of folding at 12, is tucked between the part A and the covering flaps 2, 3. In a modification of this construction the material bordering the fold 1 is. bent inwardly to afford a quadruple thickness of material the upper margins of which are stapled together except for an integral double handle afforded by the outwardly turned central portion, the hanger in this construction being a separate member: In a further modification the hanger is afforded by an inwardly doubled portion, the handle in this case being formed by a pair of integral upwardly projecting tabs. In the construction shown in Fig. 10, one form of detachable combined hanger and handle 36, 37 is shown engaged in a slot in the fold line 31, a second handle 40 being formed at the free edge of the side B. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91, describes also the construction shown in Fig. 15 (Cancelled) in which the flap 51 is engaged between a hinged extension 48 which is turned over the side A and the folded-over flaps 44, 45 and side pieces 49. 50 hinged thereto. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
