531,732. Fire extinguishing. FIRE-GARD CORPORATION, and STOVER, P. A. July 31, 1939, No. 22183. [Class 47 (ii)] Fire-extinguishing means comprise mounting means 10 disposed within a ceiling recess, a container 11 detachably secured within the mounting as by a bayonet joint mechanism, perforations 21 sealed by a closure 22 fired by fusable alloy 24 and a perforated cover plate 29 secured by a pin 32 to the closure 22. When the alloy 24 melts, closure 22 and cover plate both drop clear.
