July 6, 1939, No. 19712 [Class 80 (i)] [Also in Group XXXIV] A pulley etc., of plastic material is moulded about a bush a of light aluminium alloy or other ductile metal having an inwardly projecting flange b at one side to form an abutment for a ball or roller bearing which is secured in position by spinning over a deformable lip c at the other side of the bush. Alternatively the deformable lip may be formed on a separate annulus threaded into the bush. The outer surface of the bush is knurled.
