526,871. Packing cases. BARLOWS, Ltd., and BARLOW, J. March 28, 1939, No. 9624. [Class 18] A packing case is constructed from end frames a with mitred joints b secured by steel bridge pieces c and similar side frames f, g, h, strengthened by struts i, strong cardboard &c. d being secured to the inner faces of the frames by nailing. Frames f, g, h, assembled round frames a and nailed thereto, are further secured by steel bands k. A band k (not shown) may be secured round the side frames and nailed to the struts i. Small straps n may also be employed. Laminations or facings of canvas, hessian &c. may be secured to the carboard &c. d by bitumen &c.
