[Class 36] [Also in Group XL] A seal for coaxial lead-in conductors 1, 2 passing through the wall 6 of an electric discharge device comprises a circular ceramic disc 3 and co-planar annular ceramic discs 4, 5, all covered by a common vitreous melt 8. Annularly arranged holes 7 are formed in the conductors so that the latter do not divide the vitreous material into a number of isolated sections.
