Abstract
522,550. Furniture frames and combinations. COULON, R. A. Dec. 15, 1938, No. 36568. Convention date, Dec. 18, 1937. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii)] [Also in Group XI] Furniture made of tempered glass is heated by electric resistances applied to the surface of the glass or embedded therein and connected to electric supply terminals. An armchair is shown in Fig. 1 having heating ribbon circuit 1 and plug 2 applied to all surfaces. The cradle part G of a child's cot, Fig. 3, has a heating circuit 1 applied over the whole outer surface. A drawer for incubation, fermenting or the like is shown in Fig. 4, the terminals 3, 4 being adapted to contact supply terminals in the case when the drawer is pushed home. A temperature regulating and air-conditioning device may be combined with the heating device. The invention is also applied to tables such as operating tables.
