[Class 75 (iv)] An electric hand-lamp comprises an insulating handle 1 with ventilating ports 4 adjacent the socket 2 of the lampholder 3 and a protecting shield 8 made of transparent, non - splintering insulating sheet material, preferably that known under the Registered Trade Mark " Cellon," in the form of a cylinder or a truncated cone with ventilating slots 10. The outer end of the shield may be covered by a transparent lid but is preferably open and re-inforced by a rim 9. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 500,603. 521,574.
