Oct. 7, 1938, No. 29143 [Classes 52 (iii) and 52 (v)] A table or shelf 5 is supported in a recess 4 in a seat or other article of furniture and is brought into use by moving it into inclined position so as to release the lower edge from the recess, lowering it by sliding by means of pins 7 and slots 8, rotating it into horizontal position and moving it inwardly so that it is engaged by fixed abutments 9, 10. The face of the abutment 9 may be sloped to permit the inclining of the table on withdrawal.
