[Class 106 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] Substantially rigid and non-deformable threedimensional articles such as boxes, containers &c. for packing, elements for building other articles, ornamental articles, lamp shades, torque elements for pressure gauges, etc., are built of paper &c. in some cases on a framework, in such a way that at a plurality of positions such as 33, Fig. 11 and 12, along an axis of rotational symmetry there are cross-sections of similar geometrical outline while between these outlines panels are defined by fold edges which are so curved or so extend obliquely relatively to said axis that in a plurality of sections taken in planes in which said axis lies, at the intersection of such planes with the wall of the structure between said similar outlines panels alternate with fold edges or corners. A variety of such structures is described. This paper may be wrapped over such structures or over a framework outlining the fold edges for such a structure.
