[Class 39 (i)] In a lamp the discharge takes place between concentric envelopes A, B the whole or part of the outer surface of the envelope A being coated with fluorescent material D ; this may be in strips and different materials may be used in one lamp. The inner surface of the envelope A may be mirrored. According to the Provisional Specification part of the inner wall of tube or partitions within the tube may carry luminescent materials.
