[Class 65 (ii)] A concealed multiple-jointed hinge for car doors comprises a pair of butt hinges 13, 14 connected respectively to the door pillar 11 and door 10, and having their inner flaps 17, 18 connected by four pivoted links 19, which permit the flaps 17, 18 to separate during the open. ing of the door, and fold between them wher the door is closed. The ends of the links may have intermeshing teeth 22 to prevent sag.
