[Class 78 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] A shock-absorbing drag socket for use with excavators &c. is constructed with a tubular body 1 housing a spring 5 to which the inner end of an eye bolt &c. 8, extending beyond one end of the body is anchored, the other end of the body being formed as a tapered socket 2 to receive a rope 3 and its securing wedge 4.
