Abstract

515,639. Milling-machines. AKTIEBOLAGET SVENSKA KULLAGERFABRIKEN. June 8, 1938, No. 17078. Convention date, July 1, 1937. [Class 83 (iii)] A tool for milling &c. comprises a spindle 1 carrying a rotatable head 5. Milling-cutters 6 are secured to shafts 8 circumferentially spaced around the head and mounted in -adjustable bearings 12, 14, 15. On the end of each shaft 8 is secured a pinion 19 engaging a wheel 23 fixed to the framing of the machine. As the spindle 1 is rotated each cutter is given a planetary motion about the spindle.
