Abstract

514,964. Trigger devices. ELECTRICAL RESEARCH PRODUCTS, Inc. May 19, 1938, No. 14948. Convention date, May 24, 1937. [Class 98 (i)] [Also in Group XXIV] A trigger device applicable for operating shutters of photographic sound recording equipment comprises a control reciprocating bar 103 mounted in guides to move vertically and actuated by electromagnets 130, 131 by means of an armature 101. The bar transmits motion to a bar 120 which actuates a light-intercepting shutter. As the bar 103 moves downward, bar' 120 is latched' by bell-crank member 119 and energy is stored in spring 112, until a trip 118 moves the member 119 out of engagement with the bar 120 and spring 112 snaps bar 120 into its alternateposition. The bar is then latched in that position by.bell-crank member 104 until a similar releasing action takes place on the upward movement of bar 103.
