Abstract
513,726. Bolts; hinges; closets. STADIUM, Ltd., and SEYMOUR, G. E. April 5, 1938, No. 10422. [Classes 65 (ii) and 89 (i)] [Also in Group I] Means for adjustably securing a water - closet seat comprises a bolt stem 22 with an eccentric head 21 secured to it and a pivot member 19 rotatably mounted in the head. In a modification, Fig. 7, the pivot member 31 is carried by a disc 29 which rotates upon and embraces the eccentric head 27 of the bolt. If the under flange 30 is not provided, or, if a plain superposed disc is used in place of the disc 29, the disc and the eccentric head are clamped together by a set-screw. In a further modification, Fig. 8, the pivot member 38 is fixed upon a channel-shaped part 36 which embraces the eccentric head 35. The separate pivot members 14, 15, Fig. 4. carry the seat and its cover.
