[Class 142 (iv)] A multiply fabric for covering the suctior rollers of laundry machines has at one or both sides weft yarns' 1 of doubled asbestos and cotton, the inner ply or plies having cotton wefts 2, 3. The warp threads 4 are of worsted, or of doubled worsted and cotton. The cotton weft is preferably a sliver, or slubbing, or yarn of little twist.
