[Class 40 (i)] [Also in Group XL] In a remote control system for the tuning or like adjustable device of a wireless receiver, adjustment is effected by electromagnetically operated ratchet mechanism which is stepped in response to wireless impulses of high frequency generated at the control point by a valve 6, which is set into oscillation intermittently under the control of a moving band 4 having alternate transparent and opaque zones and being interposed between a source of light 2 and a photo-electric cell 1 connected in the anode circuit of the valve. Control of other apparatus in the receiver may be effected by the transmission of signals on different wave lengths. Specification 509,866 is referred to.
