Abstract

508,746. Tendering meat. EPSTEIN, G., and LOEWENTHAL, W. July 18, 1938, No. 21218. [Class 28 (ii)] A meat-tendering device comprises a handle 2 integral with a holder 1 having slots 4 in which comb-like blades 5 are inserted, the blades be- ' ing held by a U-shaped key 7 which passes through registering holes in the holder and the blades. The slots 4 are formed in the side walls of the holder and in ribs separating grooves 3 formed in the holder. The limbs of the key 7 are bent slightly out of parallel to cause it to bind in the holes. According to the Provisional Specification, one limb of the key is provided with a retaining-nut.
