[Class 4] In a multi-engined aircraft, the engines are arranged partly in the fuselage and partly in the wings and are connected by transmission, mechanism to the airscrews. The engine cylinders may be opposed, at right-angles, or of V-formation. The engines' may be interconneoted or groups of engines may be employed.
