Abstract

505,845. Hinges. ALLIED IRONFOUNDERS, Ltd., and SCOTT, C. L. Nov. 17, 1937, No. 31620. [Class 65 (ii)] Lugs 3 carrying the door 9 of a cooking oven or the like project through holes 4 in the oven front plate 5 to the inner surface of which they are attached by screws 7. The position of the door 9 which, when closed, conceals the screws 7, may be adjusted by inserting packing between the lugs 3 and 10 or between the plates 1 and 5. The pivot pins 8 may be cast or a force fit in the lugs 3. Specifications 385,830 and 462,061, are referred to.
