Abstract

504,878. Electric clocks. LANDIS & GYR AKT.-GES. Aug. 2, 1938, No. 22858. Convention date, Sept. 6, 1937. [Class 139] Framework.-In a synchronous-motor driven clock mechanism with a reserve spring movement, the synchronous motor 5 with its reduction gearing and the reserve movement 8 form two separate constructional units which are carried by pillars 8<1>, 8<2>, 8<3> and 121, 12<2> 123 respectively on a main frame plate 7 ; the latter carrying a double overrunning ratchet gear 13, wheels 14, 15 geared thereto, a detent relay 16 for the movement 8 .and the switch disc or dial 17. A pair of plates 3, 4 carry the motor 5 and reduction gear 6 of the motor unit 1, and plates 10, 11 carry the reserve movement. The units 1 and 8 are connected to ratchet gear 13 by wheels 18 and 19 respectively.
