Abstract

502,009. Drinking- - vessels ; dishes. BALDWIN, E. A. Sept. 19, 1938, No. 273,13. Convention date, Sept. 21, 1937. [Class 128] A device for steadying liquid in cups, dishes, &c. comprises two or more plates which are, secured together as by brazing, soldering or halved joints to form. baffles in angularly related vertical planes, and positioned within the vessel. The structure 10, 11 may be supported by resilient members engaging thesides of the vessel, or by means of hooks 14 extending over the edges. The top edges of the plates may be bevelled and recessed, and the bottom of the plates may have recesses or apertures to permit circulation of liquid. The structure may be of metal, paper or papier mÔchÚ.
