Abstract
501,697. Stencilling - apparatus; inking-apparatus. TERRIER, F., and ADAM, M. March 22, 1938, No. 8851. Convention date, March 22, 1937. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 22, 1938.] [Class 100 (ii)] A rotary duplicator comprises an internallyinked stencil-carrying cylinder 1 the internal diameter of which is larger over a part 15 which carries the stencil than over the remaining part 12, and a scraper 13 which touches the surface of the part 12 but not that of the part 15. The scraper 13 is formed by the lip of a trough 5 into which excess ink removed by the scraper is returned. The cylinder 1 rotates about a fixed tube 2, and ink fed to the tube passes through holes 3 to the trough 5 and thence to the internal wall of the cylinder through holes 6 which can be closed by a shutter 7 actuated from a handle 8.
