501,470. Electrolytic treatment of sliding-clasp fasteners. FABRIK LEONISCHER WAREN BENEDICT & DANNHEISSER GES. Dec. 20, 1937, No. 35293. Convention date, July 28, 1937. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, June 25, 1938.] [Class 41] [Also in Group XXV] Siiding-clasp fasteners made of aluminium are secured on a fastener band provided with electrical connecting members also of aluminium and are subjected to electrolytic treatment whereby the surface of both fasteners and connectors is homogeneously oxidized; the coatings are then subjected to colouring treatment. The connectors may be of finely spun threads fitted to the thickened clamping edge of the fastener band.
