501,023. Lathes. HEBBERT, Ltd., A., LLOYD, A. H., and SMITH, C. M. P. Aug. 19, 1937, No. 22716. [Class 83 (iii)] In rotating mechanism for lathe &c. turrets a turning finger 11 is arranged so that the operative end can yield slightly under the turning load when this exceeds a predetermined value. A slot 12 in the finger is engaged by a stationary pin 13. The end of the finger adjacent the pin has a flattened portion 14 which is engaged by a spring pressed stud 15, the finger being thus arranged to yield slightly, in the direction of its length, under a predetermined load.
