500,157. Condensers. :MALLORY PATENTS HOLDING CO., Ltd. April 22, 1938, No. 12173. Convention date, Nov. 4, 1937. [Class 37] The casing 20 of a condenser or other wireless component is sealed and mounted by assembling with an end-piece, a ring 24 provided with one or more projecting lugs 25, the edge of the casing being beaded over to hold the closure in position. The lugs are then passed through holes in the support 37 for the condenser and the projecting ends of the lugs bent over, or otherwise deformed. The support can be receiver chassis or a sheet of insulation secured thereto. In the example the end closure comprises two discs of insulation 23, 28 separated by a layer 29 of rubber.
