Abstract

496,417. Switch contacts. CRABTREE & CO., Ltd., J. A., McLOUGHLIN, H. F., and HARRISON, B. G. July 21, 1937, Nos. 20158/37 and 13643/38. [Class 38 (v)] A switch contact comprises two plates a, b formed with contact surfaces al, b<1> and biassed apart by springs d, movement being limited by the ends of a stud f. The two plates are mounted in a cylindrical holder, not shown, the ends of which engage shoulders a<2>, b<2> and prevent lateral movement of the contact plates. The contact plates may be reversed in the holder so that either plate may serve as the contact. Specifications 417,567 and 493,957 are referred to.
