[Class 69 (i)] [Also in Group X] An underground chamber for storing water, oil, grain, or other materials, comprises a tubular tunnel 1 and, within the tunnel, a tubular passageway 2 between which and the tunnel wall the material is stored. The storage space may be divided into watertight compartments by means of bulkheads 3 and access to the compartments may be gained through doors 5. The passageway may lead to a compartment 1a containing a pumping-plant, valve manifolds, lighting-plant, and the like.
