495,607. Condensers; insulators. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP FABRIEK VAN ELECTRISCHE APPARATEN VOORHEEN F. HAZEMEYER & CO. Jan. 20, 1938, No. 1965. Convention date, Jan. 20, 1937. [Classes 36 and 37] An electric condenser or condenser-insulator has conductive layers of which at least the edges are made of conductive artificial resin, interposed between insulating layers, and coatings of nonconductive artificial resin of the' same thickness as the adjacent conducting layers are interposed between the insulating layers along and in contact with the edges of the conducting artificial resin layers. In the example, between the insulating layers 7, 8, the space at the outer edge of the conducting layer 6 is filled by a coating 5 of nonconducting artificial resin of the same thickness as the layer 6, to avoid the formation of air spaces. A condenser &c. thus made can be given a casing of artificial resin and the hardening of the condenser and casing may be effected simultaneously as in a mould under heat and pressure. The resins may be sprayed on to a paper base, and subsequently rolled.
