495,144. Extruding hoses &c. HEIDRICH, H. Nov. 1, 1937, No. 29793. Convention date, Nov. 3, 1936. [Class 87 (ii)] A machine for extruding hoses from thermoplastic or synthetic materials possessing rubberlike properties is characterized in that the material is heated right up to the extrusion mouthpiece d and is forced through radial slots f in a disc f at the inlet end of the mouthpiece, impurities or coarse pieces being arrested by this disc. The heating is effected by a coil h surrounding an annular member a which surrounds a core b and is separated therefrom by a narrow passage c which effects a preliminary filtering, the coarse pieces being retained in a V-shaped groove g<1>. The coarse pieces retained by the disc f are accommodated in a V-shaped groove g. The feed is effected through an annular passage a<2>. A core i is arranged in the mouthpiece d and carries a mandrel e<1> projecting through the discharge aperture m. The core i is attached to or integral with the head of a screw s whereby the core i is attached to the core b. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states also that the machine is used for .forming threads from, and coating wires and pipes with, thermoplastic material. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
