Abstract

494,836. Bridles. RENNIE, G. G. May 1, 1937, No. 12444. [Class 62] A bridle for leading or securing animals comprising a rigid or semi-rigid nose-band 5 which is attached to a chain or strap 12 passing behind the ears or horns and which has a forwardly projecting rigid arm 7 for the attachment of a lead. The nose-band, which may be of metal or wood, is preferably of oval shape and has lugs to receive the ends of the chain or strap 12. The arm 7 terminates in a knob 8 in which a ring 9 is mounted. The nose-band may be in two parts hinged together at the forward end with securing means at the opposite end. Additional lugs carry rings 14, 15 to which leads may be attached.
