489,471. Electric cooking-vessels. KOLOUCH, E. Nov. 15,1937, No. 31366. [Class 66] [Also in Group XI] The bell-shaped cooking hood is provided with a heating element 6 and an annular rim portion 4 of transparent material engaging the food supporting pan 2. The central part 5 of the hood is of metal and the rim 4 is detachably retained in position by a rotatable ring 9 fitted with pins 22 engaging arcuate slots 11 in the part 5. The slots open into apertures larger than eccentric heads 23 on the pins or sleeves screwed thereon. Corresponding slots are provided in the ring 9 so that ventilation may be varied. Stops on the part 5 prevent removal of the ring and rim from the hood when the sleeves on the pins are in their lowest position.
