Abstract
489,151. Feeding-bottles. BUYS, L. R. DE. Jan. 10, 1938, No. 720. [Class 125 (i)] A feeding-bottle outfit comprises a tubular spring holder 11, Fig. 2, formed with a thin flange 12 at one end and a container 14 formed with outwardly and downwardly turned flanges 17, 18, the material of the container being such that when the nipple 19, Fig. 6, is applied, the flange 18 is inwardly bent and the flange 12 cuts into it sufficiently to prevent removal of the nipple without destroying the flange. The containers, which are made of paper &c., may be tapered as shown, or cylindrical, and are provided with spaced bottoms 15 to nest in one another. They are only intended to be used once. The containers are preferably graduated, while the holders are slotted to enable the graduations to be seen. In another form of the device, a very short holder is used, which is intended to be destroyed with the container.
