488,978. Impedance networks ; inductances. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. Nov. 2, 1937, No. 29978. Convention date, Nov. 3, 1936. [Class 40 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXV] In a separator for use at subscribers' stations for filtering telephone currents from radiofrequency currents, comprising inductances with hollow cores of high-frequency iron threaded on a common spindle, and provided with a base plate 1, preferably of moulded insulating material, the inductances in the high-pass and low-pass portions are located on opposite sides of the condensers. The condensers for both the high-pass and the low-pass portions of the separator are housed in a casing 4 screwed to a strap 3. The inductances for the low-pass portion are threaded on a spindle 7 supported on arms 8, and those for the high-pass portion are threaded together with a transformer 15 on a similar spindle 18. An insulating plate 21, inserted between the inductances, carries soldering-tabs 22 for the internal connections, and terminals 2 are provided for the external connections. A cover 19 fits over a beading 26.
