[Class 129] The lid 8 of a teapot has a deep cylindrical flange 9 which fits around a neck portion 2 of a teapot and bears on a shoulder on the teapot ; the neck portion has an inwardly and upwardly extending portion 3 with an outwardly beaded edge 4 forming a support for an infuser 5 which is made as a metal spinning with a cylindrical upper portion 6 and an outwardly projecting bead 7 by which it rests on the beaded edge 4 of the teapot mouth.
