[Class 135] An adjustable pressure relief valve for a liquid-circulating system such as the two tubes 11 of an oil-cooler comprises a detachable unit 17, arranged in a byepass chamber 16 and carrying the valve 23, which is removable, to enable the spring-loading of the valve to be accurately set by means of the adjusting screw 27, without having to adjust or detach any other parts.
