[Class 97 (iii)] A rule is adapted for drawing circles by the provision of holes or recesses 20 for insertion of a marker and a slide 14 carrying a centre point 12 which is situated on the outside of, and adjacent, a longitudinal edge of the rule. The point 12 is at the end of a resilient arm 11 which normally holds it in an inoperative position. The rule may be provided with circular apertures 21 for drawing small circles.
