483,204. Automatic circuit-breakers ; switch contacts. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. Aug. 3, 1937, No. 21349. Convention date, Aug. 3, 1936. [Class 38 (v)] The overload and blow-out coils 5, 6 of an automatic circuit-breaker are mounted one on each side of a chamber 7 containing the fixed contact 8 and movable contact 11, the movement of which latter is substantially normal to the coil-axes. The armature is pivoted at 26 so as to be movable in a direction normal to the coil-axes, and comprises two limbs 25 'co-operating with the outer coil-ends and bridged by a member 27. Contact 8 is connected by T-connector with the ends connected to turns of the flat-strip coils. Contact 11 is mounted on insulating arm 12 which is pivoted with limited movement to a lever 13 operated through toggle links 18 ...20 by a press-button 3. Link 20 has detent-part 22 engaging a lever 23 normally restrained by a bimetal strip 24 in the manner described in Specification 481,407. The hand-release button 4 may also act directly or indirectly on lever 23, as may the downward extension 28 of the armature.
