Abstract
482,976. Stapling filaments &c. COURTAULDS, Ltd., and TAYLOR, H. C. Dec. 17, 1936, No. 34708. [Class 120 (iii)] In apparatus for stapling continuous filaments, threads, and the like in which the filaments are fed to a radial channel 3 in a rotatable disc 6 from a central funnel or hopper 8 and are cut as they issue from the channel by one or more stationary cutters 7, the walls 5 of the peripheral opening 2 of the radial channel 3 are made of hard steel or other hard cutting material and form an acute-angled cutting edge 4 co-operating with the cutter or cutters 7. As shown, the walls 5 are formed in a removable bush 1. Specification 289,028, [Class 120 (iii)], is referred to.
