[Class 100 (iii)] Page-cording and like binding-appliances.- The type &c. is enclosed by four frame-elements 4, which are adapted to be abutted together at their ends, and have external grooves 7 to receive an endless extensible band 11, by which the frame-elements are pressed against the type-matter. The ends of the elements may be mitred, or arranged to interlock by means of tongues and recesses, or may abut against the inner faces of adjacent bars, as shown in Fig. 7. The band 11 may have non-extensible parts. The frame-elements can be pulled away from the type to enable alterations to be made.
