[Class 40 (v)] A high-frequency installation comprises a frame 1, a metallic base plate 2 secured to the frame by removable fastenings or screws 9, a low frequency assembly 3 comprising transformers, smoothing condensers &c., fixed to one side of the plate 2 and a high frequency assembly 4, 5 including amplifier stages &c. fixed to the other side. The base plate thus serves to screen one assembly from the other. Coverplates 8, 10 are provided for each assembly
