481,245. Slicing fuel on furnace grates. STEINMULLER, L., and STEINMULLER, C. H..Jime 18, 1937, No. 16986. Addition to 431,351. [Class 51 (i)] The reciprocating transverse bar v for conveying and slicing fuel described in the parent Specification is provided with projections v<1> of wedge shape cross section and with front and rear inclined cutting edges in a vertical curved surface which meets the front and rear edges of the bar v at rightangles. Between the cutting edges the projections may be straight or sinuous as shown in Fig. 3.
