480,662. Heads for barrels. VENESTA, Ltd., and BARBER, H. J. Nov. 10, 1937, No. 30846. [Class 21] A barrel of the type in which a head c is fixed between two hoops b, e secured to the inner surface of the barrel, has the upper hoop e secured by bendable metal clips f secured at spaced intervals by rivets &c. such as g, holes h being provided for nails which secure the hoop e to the clips. When the barrel has external body bands the exterior part of each clip is located between such band and the exterior of the body. If two concentric interior upper hoops are employed the outer one is gripped by the clips.
